It might be because it wasn't someone playing for my side that did it but I've always had respect for what Bogarde did. He knew that he was overpaid for what he brought to the table but fought to make Chelsea pay him every last penny of it. At end of the day, nobody forced Chelsea to offer him that amount per week and he was entitled to have it. It was the same when Portsmouth fans were screaming at their players to give up their owed wages because the club needed that money to invest in the squad.

Of course, if he was a Birmingham City player then I'd have the same reaction as Stoker. Hypocritical? Yes but that unfortunately come hand in hand with nailed your support to one side sometimes.

Clearly Chelsea signing a player from Leicester is going to be an annual thing. I eagerly await them bringing Danny Simpson in.

Nah, it'd just be another chapter in our long-running scouting strategy of seeing someone score a goal against us and assuming that makes them good.

Watford are set to sign Brazil U20 star Richarlison from Fluminense, subject to a medical. Sky Sports News understands the Hornets have agreed a fee of £13m with the Brazilian club and the striker has agreed terms on a five-year contract.  Richarlison, who is just 20 years old, is currently in England and will undergo a medical with Watford on Tuesday. His move is also subject to a work permit being secured. The forward, who can also play off the left or right, scored five goals in 14 appearances for Fluminense last season.

Feyenoord have completed the permanent signing of Steven Berghuis from Watford, the Premier League club have confirmed. The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with the Dutch champions having made one start and 10 substitute appearances for the Hornets in 2015/16.

Carlton Cole sacked for being shit:

Former West Ham and Chelsea striker Carlton Cole is to be sacked by Indonesia's Persib after failing to find the net since his arrival in March, the team's manager said Tuesday.

Cole has played "very badly" and will be replaced for the second stage of the season, which starts on Saturday, Persib manager Umuh Muchtar told AFP.

"It's the management's decision to dismiss him, we will have a new player in the second round of the season," Muchtar said. "He plays very badly compared to the other (foreign players) who have joined Persib. He had the worst performance," Muchtar added.

Cole joined Persib two weeks after his former Chelsea team-mate Michael Essien in what was a buying spree for the Bandung-based club. Cole signed a one-year contract for an undisclosed sum with Persib, owned by Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir -- who is also president of Italian giants Inter Milan.
