West Brom have had two bids turned down for Middlesbrough captain Ben Gibson, according to Sky sources.

Fiorentina say they have signed Jordan Veretout from Aston Villa on a four-year deal. Veretout spent last season on loan at St Etienne and it is reported the move will be worth around £6m.

We have signed Oxford captain John Lundstram. Is he any good?

He was with us for a month or so and I remember him being pretty decent. Something like a less spectacular midfield dynamo type. One of those players who had/has bags of potential but will probably be Championship level at best.

Telegraph reporting its permanent though?

If he's as good as his FIFA ratings then I hope it is permanent!

It's a loan with a mandatory purchase option after x amount of games. No idea how many games though.

Highly-rated youngster Lewis Gibson has left Newcastle to sign a three-year deal with Everton. The England U16 international only had a year left on his contract at St James' Park and Everton used the loophole in youth contracts to prize him away. Both clubs must now finalise a compensation fee or the Court of Arbitration for Sport will determine his value.
