• Wayne Rooney will be confirmed as a DC United player on Thursday afternoon, Sky Sports News understands. A news conference will follow to present the player to the press on Monday.
• Wales international David Brooks is due to undergo a medical tomorrow after Bournemouth agreed an £12m deal with Sheffield United, Sky Sports News understands. The 20-year old has three caps for Wales after making his international debut in November 2017. He's scored three goals in 30 appearances for Sheffield United.
• Girona have completed the signing of defender Marc Muniesa from Stoke on a permanent deal. 
• Dusan Tadic has completed his transfer from Southampton to Ajax, with a contract to be signed in Amsterdam on July 1.
• Southampton have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Stuart Armstrong from Celtic on a four-year deal.
• Southampton have agreed a fee with Basel for young winger Mohamed Elyounoussi, according to Sky sources. Fee believed to be in the region of £16m. The 23-year-old Norwegian international can operate as a forward or as a winger.
• Southampton goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has penned a new four-year deal at St Mary's, the club has announced.
• Huddersfield are in talks with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of defender Erik Durm.
• Burnley are among the clubs to have expressed an interest in signing Nathaniel Mendez-Laing from Premier League newcomers Cardiff, say Sky sources.
• Bobby Reid and Alex Smithies are having medicals at Cardiff today, according to Sky sources. The Premier League newcomers want to sign Bobby Reid from Bristol City to boost their attacking options – with reports the fee could rise as high as £10m.Meanwhile, we’re told a fee of around £4m has been agreed with QPR to sign goalkeeper Smithies.
• Jack Rodwell has had his contract cancelled by Sunderland. The player had one year left on his £73,000-a-year (reduced to £44,000 in League One), but both parties have come to a financial agreement to terminate his deal. Rodwell is now expected to move to the MLS for his next club.
• Brighton are edging closer to signing Reading defender Liam Moore, according to Sky sources. Any deal had previously looked to be off last week despite Brighton’s second bid of £7million up front and £3million in add-ons. Moore, 25, has three years left to run on his current deal at the Madejski Stadium.
• Middlesbrough sign Aden Flint from Bristol City on four-year-deal. Bristol City have moved quickly to replace Aden Flint. They have agreed a £5m deal with Ipswich for Adam Webster, Sky Sports News understands. It is believed the central defender is having a medical in Bristol this afternoon.
• Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa joins La Liga side Sevilla for undisclosed fee.
• Valencia defender Joao Cancelo has completed his move to Juventus. According to Sky in Italy the fee is in the region of €40 million (£35 million) and he’ll sign a five-year deal with €3m a season salary.
• Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of Paddy McNair on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. He is Boro's first signing of the summer and joins after spending two years at Sunderland.

Raul Ruidiaz of the Peruvian national team is presently in Bellevue, WA in advance of probably doing a physical tomorrow and signing for your two-years ago MLS Cup Champions and present-day shambles, Seattle Sounders FC! He took a photo outside a hotel window and someone was able to ID the Wendy's as being the Bellevue Wendy's. Which isn't as good as the Wendy's of Easton, PA, but nothing is.

Emile Heskey is in talks for a shock return to football with non league Tranmere Rovers.

Chelsea are eyeing up a move for James Rodriguez from Real Madrid. Although the Colombian has another year left on his loan deal to Bayern Munich, the Spanish giants inserted a break clause in the deal which they mayactivate if Roman Abramovich meets their £59m valuation on the player.

West Ham are hoping to steal Burnley wantaway goalkeeper Tom Heaton after he was told his opportunities would be limited next season after the emergence of Nick Pope. Currently though the Hammers are reportedly "not even close" to Burnley's asking price. Apparently similar to the £30m Everton paid for Jordan Pickford.
