I've checked out Soundcloud here & there, but it seems to have a lot of the same style beats. Almost your "standard" Hip Hop beats. While I'm not looking to stray miles away from the roots of rap, I'd like something that has a little more depth to it. I was hoping there was a site out there with just a massive library of free beats that would catch my attention, lol. I might just go with my original idea of finding a few Portishead instrumentals & jotting down lyrics to those.

Hey everyone, just had a quick question. I've been writing & preparing Hip Hop songs for months now, but I can't seem to find any instrumentals that really stand out to me. I like just writing, finding new flows & practicing without any tracks playing, but I also want to work on using my voice as an instrument that will compliment a beat. Is there a good website with aspiring producers that anyone could lead me to? I'd like to both produce & write my lyrics, but learning the ends & outs of my production software is going to take a minute. In the mean time I'd really like to have some instrumentals that I can immediately record to. I don't know what style I'd like because really, I know I want to write to a song only when I hear that song. But if it helps, my musical influences range from Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wind, & Fire, De La Soul, James Brown to Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, A Day to Remember & most of my Hip Hop influences are Outkast, Curren$y, 2 Pac, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul & Mos Def. Appreciate the help guys.

Is there a reason your influence goes down seemingly within minutes? I'm always making sure infestations are taken care of, supplies are stocked fairly well & home based missions are a priority.

Is that an actual question? Most rappers don't really talk openly or honestly about their lives, Glover is not one of those rappers. So if you're actually listening to his lyrics, you get to know what he's going through. As opposed to listening to 2 Chainz talk about whatever the hell he likes to talk about. What I meant in my previous statement was he specifically has a line alluding to hoping Community gets cancelled so he could focus on music & that was from a song recorded at least a year or two ago, iirc.

Donalds spoken various times in his music about focusing more on that aspect of his careers. It sucks, but it doesn't surprise me. Hopefully they'll be able to work around his touring.

Just finished episode five. I love this game, but also, FUCK this game for making a grown man cry. For real tho, just an amazing roller coaster of a ride story. I honestly can't wait to go back through & make totally different decisions this time around. Cant decide if I want to be an uber dick or more of a hero/leader this go around since I rode the fence on quite a few options.

Game is fun so far. It's basically everything I've wanted in a zombie game, just needs to be refined is all. More character depth is never a bad thing either. I believe this is the studio's first run at a game, iirc. I've also been reading & hearing that if SOD does well, a MMO style zombie game entiitled, Class4, will be the studio's next project.

I found this season to be a lot of fun. Different, yes, but still entertaining. It had It's moments of lulls & perhaps tried to hard to be the Community of old, but I still cared & laughed. I will agree that this last episode wasn't season or series finale worthy tho. Felt like just another episode. I'm curious to see just how they'll approach things next season.

Loved this weeks past episodes, but like most, I don't like the fact that we have to wait till February to see the next episode. I just hope people's interest in the show doesn't fade while months pass. On a side note, there's a preview for episode 8 up, but for some reason I can't get it to work. Anyone else having trouble watching the video?
