  1. One of the complications with Fury/Joshua is that Fury is still under his five-match agreement with ESPN to fight in the USA. They could fight over there, but it would be a shame not to have it in the UK in front of a stadium crowd. On the other hand, Joshua could lose to Pulev and change the conversation entirely. I was only listening to the fight and thus didn't get the full picture of what happened, but the commentators' descriptions made it sound like a performance reminiscent of a prime Lennox Lewis. He was using his jab as a power punch, rather than flicking it and moving away like he usually does. I remember watching Fury on ITV about ten years ago. He looked like a decent domestic fighter, but I never thought he'd make it to the top of the division.
  2. Fury and Wilder will be fighting again in a few hours. I think Wilder will get the knockout this time, especially with Fury talking about going toe-to-toe more often.
  3. And there's been a steady stream of games over the years, along with all the plushy toys and whatnot. A fair few children have Sonic bags and lunchboxes too.
  4. It looks as though this film is doing well at the box office, which confirms to me that the assertion that Sonic only appeals to people looking for '90s nostalgia is completely wrong. This isn't something like Earthworm Jim. Sonic is still a character that most children recognise and, it would seem, are interested in seeing on the big screen.
  5. I do, and it's one of the reasons why I never pursued romance in the game. I wouldn't want to be around when Garreg Mach has an OFSTED inspection.
  6. With the VR update coming to Dreams fairly soon, do you plan to stream that? I don't know how well VR translates to game streaming.
  7. It looks as though The Witcher 3 is getting cross-save functionality between the PC and Switch versions soon.
  8. Dreams, and watching other people play it, is like those episodes of Rick and Morty with the television channels from other dimensions.
  9. I've always found it hard to comprehend how Edith Piaf managed to roll her /r/ phonemes like that. Regardless, it's a song I've liked for a long time and one whose lyrics are simple and effective.
  10. It's amazing how much effort some people put into entertaining others for a couple of minutes.
  11. Dreams is very good. Have you played Art's Dream, Media Molecule's creation, yet?
  12. I voted for it because I hadn't watched fifteen shows. I still enjoyed the show for the most part before Series 7, and that had some good moments too. I always said that I thought I'd be less invested in the story once all the fantasy elements overtook the political jockeying, and so I wasn't especially disappointed when that came to pass. I'm also one of the few who liked the fact that we didn't see the battles in the first series because I was much more interested in the outcomes than the physical fighting itself. Blackwater was great because we only saw glimpses of the fighting, which left a lot more to the imagination, and the emotional crux of the episode hinged on the different points of view from characters on both sides of the battle, and the fact that it was hard to know who to root for. Most battles since then have involved Jon Snow rushing idiotically into danger and being saved at the last minute by someone who pops up out of nowhere. It was a lot more Hollywood-esque, which didn't work as well for me.
  13. I was really surprised that Game of Thrones finished first the last time it was eligible. As flawed at Series 8 was, I don't think Series 7 was much better, and 7 actually reduced my hype for 8 to the extent that I mainly wanted to watch it just to see it end, rather than because I was invested in what was going to happen. In fact, I didn't really feel much at all when I watched the last few episodes.
  14. The option to skip them would have been very welcome in the AC games I've played.
  15. Just to correct slightly, The Good Place is on Netflix in the UK, so that might have influenced some ballots. It certainly did for me. Still, it's a victory I can't argue with too much. It was between that and Bojack for me. Speaking of Bojack and The Good Place, will they be eligible for the 2020 votes? Both of them started their final series last year, but finished them this year.
  16. Dreams is a really nice game, just like Media Molecule's other efforts. People have created some interesting things already. Sadly, there doesn't seem to be much hype for it at all, which makes me think that it'll be a commercial flop.
  17. I'd completely forgotten about that. I didn't have any consoles at the time, so this was something I played a lot, along with all the Windows Entertainment Pack games (Chip's Challenge, SkiFree, Rodent's Revenge and all the rest). What I played the most, though, was Hover, the game that came free with the Windows 95 CD. You can download a free version that runs on Windows 10 now, and I still give it a go from time to time.
  18. I played all the old Worms games. Armageddon was the one I got the most out of, though. I repurchased it a few years ago on Steam and introduced it to my nephew, who thought it was great. He even recorded his own lines for the sound bank editor.
  19. I think I know the answer to this, but is this year's game any more or less fun than the previous one?
  20. One doesn't want to be too confident in one's knowledge of porcine strategy games.
  21. From the sounds of it, some of the Scotland fans were acting like tossers today.
  22. This is proper secondary school rugby stuff.
  23. I suppose Man United and Liverpool fans have something to agree on.
