  1. I don't think Jürgen Klopp cares that much about that side of things tbh.
  2. I think its a sensible thing to expect when there was a massive error to which the match officials have owned up to having made. But it wont happen. Officials wont go for it and theres too much petty tribalism in the sport for other clubs to do the correct thing and demand better officiating for the benefit of the league as a whole.
  3. Get ready, Dublin will be cranking up the prices.
  4. tbh every club in the league and its supporters should be mad at that and not give way to "lol liverpool" sentiment. The latter doesn't help improve the situation.
  5. It is wild that Liverpool have topped the fair play table regularly during Klopps tenure and now all this is going on. Something has gone wrong somewhere.
  6. Darren England officiated in UAE just 48 hours before VAR error
  7. I do have a bit of a soft spot for David N'Gog (and also Damien Plessis for some reason.) I recently found out David N'Gog came out of retirement last season to play for Panonios (for the second time) in the third tier of Greek football. Seems to have retired again though.
  8. I would be a little worried, from a Spurs POV, that it had to be an own goal that decided it against 9 men and the manager chose to bolster the attack by bringing on a kid from Argentina for his debut. It felt a bit like how under Rafa, Liverpool would be chasing a game against Bolton or someone and bringing on David N'Gog. EDIT: PGMOL have said Diaz's goal should've stood.
  9. Agreed. That was as foolish. As was a referee giving a free to a player who clearly tripped over his own legs.
  10. I haven't seen the first yellow since it happened but it very much seemed like the Spurs player fell over himself. What Jota did next was stupid though. Feels like six of one half a dozen of the other with the discipline. Either this Liverpool side is a bit more hot-headed than previous ones or the ways referees are officiating have changed.
  11. So unlucky for Liverpool. Deserved a point for that.
  12. For me, 80s Billy Joel slowly devolves into getting far to into doing homages and gets progressively more corny.. As for Johnny Cash, for me Solitary Man was the best "im about to die album" soon lads album Cash made. He still had a bit of juice left in his voice and the songs overall suited him better. (Solitary Man, I Wont Back Down, the Mercy Seat, I See A Darkness) There are some dirges on TMCA (Danny Boy, Bridge over Troubled Water and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face). Big Iron and Witchta Lineman were both not on that album and they're far stronger.
  13. I believe Liverpool have been using some sort of AI-driven injury detection software in recent years. Not sure how successful that has been at all really.
  14. Some sort of AI-driven tech thing it seems. They have one of those websites that is full of jargon that doesn't really leave you any more clear on what they do than you were before.
  15. Paul F Tompkins pointed out on some podcast a while ago that country songs now are always listing things. And he's not wrong
  16. I've never really used Spotify personally. I'm also kinda settled into just listening to the same musicians I've listened to for the last 15 years and I don't really buy many albums anymore. At most, I buy 1 album a year. So don't really know what hill I would die on. I like Garth Brooks' In The Life of Chris Gaines more than I really like any of his other work. But it's not great. So I'm not willing to die on the hill. I might be willing to die on the hill of "Billy Joel's best album is Glass Houses". Sleeping With The Television is probably one of his best lesser-known songs. I'm a firm believer that Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt and the album it comes from are just OK. It's certainly got a really impactful music video The album before that American III: Solitary Man is much better. The song choices are overall much stronger and his voice hasn't deterorated quite as much from ill health.
  17. He was from the same part of Dublin as Sheamus.
  18. that if i only could id make a deal with god and get him to swap our places
  19. I think the only Charlton Heston movies I've seen really are Planet of the Apes and Touch of Evil. I can't recall the former very well. He's fine in Touch of Evil but I honestly forgot he was in it until just now. I only really ever think of Welles and Janet Leigh.

    Big Bang Theory

I grew to hate this show. At one point I did watch the pilot. The main plot was Sheldon and Leonard considering selling their sperm. Bazinga indeed.
  21. Feels like the Chelsea equivalent of if hitting the post counted as a goal.
  22. I'm surprised to learn that 2 Broke Girls ran until 2017 because I completely forgot about it. I only ever knew 1 person who liked it.
  23. They blew up the chicken man AND his house too?
