Since 2019 off the top of my head I can name Frank Robinson, Al Kaline, Don Newcombe, Lou Brock, Tom Seaver, Bob Gibson, and Whitey Ford. It's a lot all at once.

Well, at least the ALCS is watchable with the Yankees out.  Now TB just needs to beat the Astros.

The Astros winning the WS though would be peak 2020 terribleness though.

I’m pretty sure Dodgers/Braves was the most frequently predicted NLCS back in March and the ALCS was normally projected to come down to Yankees/Rays/Astros.

Funny how the 60-game season that could’ve resulted in a totally unexpected World Series still found a way to come down to the same teams you figured would be there.

It's exactly what happened with the Cubs but instead of Joe Maddon it'll be Hinch or Cora.

That's an interesting move. Curious on what side of the business his role will wind up being.

I read something the other day that FSG want to try and be like Red Bull and City Football Group and buy a few other clubs, or interest in them, to have a system of feeder teams. Beane was specifically mentioned in the article as part of the plan, so I'm assuming this is the start of that
