I'd lean towards the latter on that goal. They'd created the 2v1 which is what you'd want, and his individual skill got them the goal. You could ask questions of the defence on almost every goal.

I’ve tried to watch the highlights of Sporting / City twice now and fell asleep both times. A dominant win with a lot of goals, but it’s probably my bias towards City that just makes them still so boring to me.

Massive result that in what was a really tough game. Lack of shots on target but a lot of back and forth between both teams. 

Brilliant header from Bobby and a bit of fortune for Mo but unless there's a massive collapse come the return game at Anfield then we are safely in the driving seat. 

Shame Bayern got a 90th minute goal to tie with Salzburg as well

Yeah, had both games on two different screens and was routing for Salzburg at the same time. Bayern deserved it, for sure, but still a bummer.

My favorite thing about Bayern/Salzburg was seeing my boy the Medford Messi just up his transfer value even more! Philly Union gonna get even more sell on money to never spend! 

Brendan Aaronson to Leeds still makes more sense than AC Milan who also are in for him from a stylistic sense (he's literally perfect for Leeds), but it's just amazing to see him get this kind of attention. Love it so much.

We aren't scoring in this game, or even the tie, if we don't take more risks in getting players forward. They're too organised to have only Ronaldo within 40 yards of goal.
