Again, its all relative. If sucking means that they were able to do credible heavy metal and STILL sell records, then yeah, they sucked.

I'm not there biggest fan, but they deserve to be on a top 100 list, easily.

Just seeing Slayer on the list is satisfactory for me. Slayer's fucking awesome and it's good to see that they weren't overlooked. I'd put them higher, but a spot on the list is good enough for me.

At the end of the day, Beastie Boys are a niche band (not many bands who try and mix hip hop with more alternative leanings have massive, massive followings, as they don't full cater to either type of fan), so I'm not surprised they aren't here. Whether they deserve to be here is another story (in short...they probably do).

I'm surprised that a) the Sex Pistols are so low and

b) that the Sex Pistols weren't on there at all last time round. I do like MCR, but I wouldn't have rated them above the Sex Pistols, but on the whole, the list so far doesn't suck too badly.
