Smackdown! VS RAW 2007

Don't get me wrong I love playing Smackdown it's always very entertaining. As a matter of fact I want to play so much but I'm at work right now haha. It just seems like THQ gets lazy because there isn't any competition ala EA Sports and Madden football. I'm interested to see what Midway does with TNA but I won't hold my breath. I'm hoping the sliders can carry over to season mode this year.

Melina has been put up; I love that they included her real entrance. I don't know what the deal is with her ring outfit though.

Wow, that's pretty cool with the fake photographers included. The slightly dated attire doesn't bother me too much. I mean, it's not like it's part of the gimmick (like Vito not wearing a dress in the game).

Anyone think its screwy that they have Chavo using the Gory Bomb AND Frog Splash, yet couldn't take the time to change Kane's second finisher to the Tombstone or do Big Show's Cobra Clutch Backbreaker?

(Not a big deal, really; can just go into their movesets and change Kane's secondary to the Tombstone and use the Cobra Clutch Bomb as a substitute for the Cobra Clutch Backbreaker, but still.....)

And yeah, I want to see what someone new looks like. Or at least someone most people will give a damn about (Chavo is okay, but why bother profiling Vito this early?).

There's some rumours going around one of the Smackdown boards about 5 unlockable wrestlers in addition to the Legends.

Due to the general amount of illiteracy present on the board I'm taking it with a pinch of salt. Most of the over-excited posters are speculating on ECW wrestlers or the Spirit Squad. I know which I'd prefer!

The Regal and Boogeyman models look pretty good. I especially liked the Boogeyman model, looked very sharp, and made me sort of miss seeing him more often.

The cool thing about the Regal preview is that it gives us a sneak peak at Finlay. Finlay's model looks pretty good as well.

Watching the Xbox 360 version (the "Flying Englishman" video), I can't believe how long Boogeyman stays down after Regal nails him with the brass knuckles. FINALLY, you might actually be able to hit the 5 Star Frog Splash again!

That's just because of the timing on the picture. Look at any other picture of Big Show, he looks great.
