Agreed. The wife loved the party and some of the over-the-top stuff, but I cracked up far more at the pranks (wiring the horn to the brake lights) and their conversation around the campfire around 'how luxurous we could make these challenges'.

I wanted to dislike this episode. I wanted to feel like Top Gear had peaked and was now going downhill...but I can't. The formula is just too good. If one part of it doesn't hook you, something else will. Bring on Stiggy and the rest of the series. For me, it's this and GT5 for a while yet.

I can't really be bothered watching the new episodes anymore really. It's not that they're bad or anything - it's just that all the regulars, like star in reasonably priced car and so on have gotten a bit stale. The specials are still good fun though. I enjoyed the India one.

The Chinese Cars & NASCAR episode is easily among my favorites. LeBlanc was a vast improvement over Willy Peas, and Chinese Stig forced me to take a time out because of laughing, something very few shows have ever done. Plus, it was oddly satisfying to see that Clarkson's opinion of the SLS AMG was the same as mine. Great episode overall.

There's something about a man unnecessarily kicking his way through a door which I find endlessly entertaining.
