Seeing the celebs they've had so far, two reasonably high profile names, i'm annoyed they didn't have Hulk Hogan do it. He's been in the country and he was doing the whole media thing!

They could have compared bad hip and back stories. Talking of which, would Hulk have struggled getting in and out of the reasonably priced car? I mean, obviously he gets in and out of a car but I'm guessing its a larger one.

The mid-lap beatdown also had me in stitches.

As for the celebs, may I point you to Mr. LeBlanc's home state of...Massachusetts? Allow me to quote another forum member for my reaction:

I did enjoy Jeremy trying to get "turn off the traction control" into The Sweeney, and Ryan Reynolds was funny. That's about it.

I'm inclined to agree. The Sweeney deal was typical awkward, Boart-esque humor. I can only stand so much of it before it just becomes 'DRIVE A CAR ALREADY!'. The horrid bald patch and wig were nice touches, though.

Power Test was solid, if not seemingly a throwaway. Canadian (Reynolds) replaces an American (Cruise) at #5 on the leaderboard. A German takes a crack at it next week. If he beats Becker's time, I'll be impressed (still contend Boris deserves an attempt at a dry lap. If his wet lap is any indication, he'll slaughter Leblanc's time.)

Despite it being a meh series for me, it does seem to have flown by. The only real memorable shtick for me was Attack Stig, but jeez that may rank right up there with some of my absolute favorite moments. Still have to catch tonight's series finale, though, so hopefully it'll go out on a solid note.

Last night was a really good episode. The series not so much but the final episode made it a lot better.

The racing was awesome and I had a smile on my face for the entire segment, Slash playing the theme tune was great as was Kimi's interview. I also liked May taking the Ferrari around Windsor Park, all in all (Y)

Agreed, though I do enjoy the three giving each other hell, as well. The finale was by far my favorite complete episode (Attack Stig is still the highlight of this series, though.)

No real complaints about this series, but it's also not one of the best. Average to above average, I'd say.

Perhaps not. Intriguingly, Clarkson mentioned Simon Cowell by name as a reason Top Gear will be postponed. Is there a new season of X Factor slated for later this year?

There usually is, and it's never been a problem before. The two programmes are pitched at different audiences.
