What really annoyed me was the complaint about Sol Campbell's booking. Yeah, can't see why he got one for going in over the top, studs showing Arsene. You can bet he was calling for Pedersens head for the same challenge on RVP

I have been far more on Dunn's back than the rest of the Rovers lot on here, but when fit and now he is more mature than when he got kicked out (One of the battles Souness had with players where he was in the right) he really is a quality player again. You are right, Wenger can moan all about players on the keeper all he likes (and keepers are so over-protected these days anyway so if there was a hint of a foul we would have been done for that) but the amount of times we cut them up down the middle was amazing and a bit sad.

Still, I knew RVP would score so at 7/2, my tenner was well spent. (H)

It was also nice to get the win with Jones only playing a cameo and N'Zonzi not at all after Arsenal's reported interest. I did vote for Steven to be player of the year and I am glad for the lad. Just stay a bit longer before getting lost in the shuffle elsewhere. :shifty:

It still makes me laugh hearing Wenger complain about the physicality of other teams. It wasn't so long ago that he would be claiming he "didn't see" an incident where one of his players contributed to his team having the worst disciplinary records in the league.

yeh Wengers probably the worst when it comes to that atleast some managers admit when there players should have been sent off and made a bad tackle he just whinges all the time whenever he gets the chance and when they ask about something his player did "I didn't see it". His problem is he's too busy trying to live by a certain style of football and yes it's attractive to watch but its easy to exploit if you get stuck in and thats when Arsenal tend to do badly.

If true then it's hilarious. Dyer on £70k a week, Gabbidon on £50k. People moan about agents fees but the agents for those two have earned every penny.

I'm pretty sure that if you worked out the hourly average for the 'work' he's done, Keiron Dyer is the best paid person in the history of the universe.

Spurs-City has been a really good game so far. I feel Spurs are unlucky to still be drawing, with Crouch hitting the woodwork, Bale's near miss, and King's goal disallowed. Tevez is looking dangerous though and I can see him scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory as Spurs struggle to find the decisive moment.

Lol, I remember the City fans singing to us "Champions League you're having a laugh"...haha..yeah, cya's in the Europa League next year.

Ironic, that it is also a former Villa player that deals a crucial blow. :D

I wanted to slap that little ginger kid crying...this is City's best finish in YEARS and they're crying. Get a grip, and come back when you know true footballing heartache.

Well done to Spurs, good defending tonight in a good end-to-end game, I hope they make it in Europe next season. Always good to see a team with a core of top English talent succeeding.

Justice has prevailed. I'm not saying that only as a Man United fan, but also as someone who hates how the likes of City (and Chelsea, and Real Madrid with Florentino) try to acchieve success. City's time will come, no doubt about it, but as long as it's being delayed for a year or two I'm one bloody happy man. Gongratulations to Spurs and Redknapp. :)

Fucking buzzing.

BBC Sport's Phil McNulty tweeting from Eastlands: "Eastlands PA playing "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" by The Smiths. Black humour at its finest."

BBC - 2212: Hahaha. Harry Redknapp is talking to the TV cameras and a group of players led by David Bentley creep up and empty a massive bucket of water over him. He's drenched. Completely drenched. Not sure that mic's going to work either.

harrywater.jpg

Man City boss Roberto Mancini on BBC 5 live: "It's very disappointing but that's football. We tried to win. We had chances in the first half and the second half. When we pushed more in second half, Tottenham had more space to counter-attack. I'm happy for this season because we get Ch… Europa League. Next year we try to go Champions League. We wanted to get fourth because we had chances, but we know football is like that. It's important you always improve. I wanted to get fourth for the club and for the fans because I think we deserve it. Now I think we must be happy because our season was good."

Mancini on whether he'll be at Man City next season: "Yeah yeah. We plan for next season. We work in pre-season and next year we play better than now. We'll have a better position than this season."
