Fifa ethics judge Hans-Joachim Eckert and lawyer Michael Garcia have agreed to release full copies of reports into alleged World Cup bidding corruption to the organisation's compliance chief. Domenico Scala will put selected evidence to Fifa's Executive Committee. The body will then "evaluate which steps are required", leaving the door open to a possible re-vote.

So instead of one FIFA-approved guy (Eckert) having the sole power to pick and choose what elements of the reports to share with the world...we will have a different FIFA-approved guy (Scala) having the sole power to pick and choose what elements of the report to share with the world FIFA executive committee, who will then in turn be able to decide if they're bothered enough by their own corruption to take action or not.

Ingenious.

In fact I only got as far as reading that Scala is FIFA's 'compliance chief' before I was forced to stifle a laugh. He's clearly been doing a fantastic job.

And in conclusion we have decided to ban England from applying to host the World Cup for 500 years and to pay £10 Billion in compensation to the Russian and Qatari FA's, each.

We trust this will be the end of the matter

As compensation for emotional distress, President Blatter will be given East Anglia to govern as he sees fit as an independent nation known as 'Blattopia'.
