No real surprise there. If I'm remembering right

(book spoilers - own thread blah blah blah, but if you've seen season 4 you've spoiled some of the later books for yourself anyway.)

The Bran storyline in the show is caught up to where it is in the book. I imagine there will be new Bran chapters in the next book, so it'll probably be a season or two more before we see them again at the rate GRRM releases stuff >_>

I'm up to the end of Storm of Swords now after watching the TV show first and Bran is consistently the most boring part of that too. Good news that he won't be about moaning about stuff in season 5.

Meh, not the most exciting part of the story anyway, so not such a big deal imo, 'specially if it means that other more interesting characters get more attention. Incidentally, Hodor is DJ'ing at my freshers in a couple of weeks!
