EWR 2012 Stats Update: July ***PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS***

I think DGUSA should be renamed EVOLVE. EVOLVE runs far more regularly than DGUSA does at this point and Dragon Gate talent have been used less and less with them being used more or less used as special attractions with the exception of the CIMAs, Tozawas and Hulks of the world and the gaijin like Swann and Ricochet.

I would call them both - Dragon Gate USA/Evolve, initials: DGUSA-E.

DGUSA-E would be too long... Max is 6 characters on the initials.

Something like DG-EVO would work, though.

The first of the 5 main "tiers" of the sponsors has been completed, so it's now 20% done. I expect to finish another tier tomorrow, if not more. The goal at the moment is to have the new sponsors file done by the weekend. As I said earlier, the math part is done, but I'm also trying to match the sponsor names up in ares where they would best fit in a "Real-Life" scenario, but that's just juggling which names go where in the chart. In other words, I'm trying to slot similar sponsors (like Pepsi and Coca-Cola) in similar spots to one another. Nothing that really affects the gameplay, just something to make it as realistic as possible.

In an update to something I said, Susumu Yokosuka actually wrestled the WrestleReunion DGUSA show in January. I think wait on removing Susumu Yokosuka from DGUSA as he does appear irregularly for the promotion (their Dragon Gate debut in the US in September 2008, the promotion's debut in July '09, the June '10 shows, the June '11 shows and the January show from this year) to see if he doesn't appear on this month's shows.

Just an idea, but if Dragon Gate USA talent isn't used much, couldn't we just rename it to EVOLVE and use DGUSA as the developmental or training camp? I don't see why both need to be in the name if they apparently aren't getting equal billing.

The problem is besides the Japanese Dragon Gate regulars (barring Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk, CIMA, Masato Yoshino, Naruki Doi, and YAMATO) there is a good cross-section of guys in both DGUSA and Evolve. The only few I can think of that are on a respective show are Arik Cannon and PAC (though he is most likely finishing up this month) for Dragon Gate, and Alex Reynolds; Drew Gulak (though he only has done the Toronto show); Finlay; Jake Manning; Jigsaw; John Silver; Lince Dorado; Silas Young; and maybe Tommy Taylor for EVOLVE.

Perhaps remove Ahtu from DG-EVO as his last show (though I am not sure if he managed The Scene since then) was the EVOLVE 10 show from January.

Remove Brad Allen from DG-EVO who has not appeared on both Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE shows since 2010.

OK, first off, sorry for the delay... The weather and my personal schedule both played a factor into the delay, but I was also able to get some things done that wouldn't have gotten done, so...

As I said last month, I started some "house cleaning" on workers and staff that we could find little or no info on. If, for some reason, we ever do find info, pics, etc on a deleted worker, I have all of the in-game info that we had on them (such as stats, relationships, etc) archived, so they will be easy to add in... Quite honestly, though, I doubt it'll be an issue. In total, 10 workers and 5 staff members were removed this month. Here is the list of the ones removed and notes regarding why, where applicable:

I'm hoping to do this on a semi-regular basis... I won't say EVERY month, but I'm going to try to get some done every month... doesn't mean it will happen.

One thing I'd like some people to take a deeper look at this month are the relationships in the game. There has been discussions about there being "too many," but the fact is, if it is a LEGIT relationship, it shouldn't not be added, just because there are "too many." If some want to go through the in-game relationships and work on "weeding out" some of the ones that probably don't need to be in, we can probably cut down on some relationships, while keeping the ones in the game that SHOULD be in... Anyone doing this, keep in mind how THE GAME sees the relationships... Workers with loyalties and friendships have the morale go down when "friends" are released and workers who dislike or hate each other don't like working together...

Finally, like I said, I'll be holding off for a week or so before really getting into changing workers stats... That way, if people want to compare and contrast how stats look compared to other worekrs, there's some time to do that, without having to worry about me already changing the stat, based on someone else's suggestion. Let's say that, until July 20th, I won't make any changes on stats... I got plenty of other junk I can work on, anyway. :)

Here's a promotion we can add, http://www.apwvt.com/index2.html

Almost if not all of the wrestlers are in the game.

Edit: Another promotion: http://www.teampowerslam.com/index.html

A canadian promotion where most of the roster is already in the game.

Edit 2: http://www.primewrestling.com/index2.php

There's about 5-10 wrestlers that are not in the game as of right now.

Edit 3: Most definitely this promotion: http://www.crossfirellc.vze.com/

All the wrestlers here are in the game, except for maybe 2 or 3.

Edit 4: Possibly this one: http://www.fightbrand.ca/

According to a website, http://www.onefallwrestling.com/fight-brand-debuts-this-weekend/ the promotion features wrestlers such as “Canadian Crazyhorse” Michael Elgin, “Textbook” Tyson Dux, Ashley Sixx, Christopher Bishop, Lionel Knight, Nick Watts, “Pyscho” Mike Rollins, “Ronin” Josh Alexander, Ethan Page, Derek Wylde, Kenneth Crisses, Tyler Tirva and Rj City. Kobra Kai could also be added to that list as he appears on this banner for one of their events: https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/419200_389624534387595_1631249281_n.jpg

Edit 5: http://www.ftwprowrestling.com/FTW_Wrestling/FTW_HOME.html

Almost the whole roster is missing from the game but it would be a nice addition to the game.

To make it clear, I am not a fan of Jeff Hardy and never will be. But I was shocked when I saw his skills.

Now hes got:

Brawling: 68

Speed: 74

Technical: 54

Charisma: 73

Over: 92

I am fine with the Overness and Speed. But is he so bad in technical wrestling? Charisma, of course hes not a great talker, but hes a guy who is blessed with natural charisma, the only reason he is liked by his fans.

I would think, this fits better:

Brawling: 72

Speed: 74

Technical: 70

Charisma: 79

Over: 90

Maybe you want to discuss it.

54 isn't "bad" at technical wrestling, it's slightly above average. I'd say that ranking him in the 70s is massively over-inflating his stats; have you ever seen Jeff Hardy put on a solid technical match? I can't recall ever seeing him do any convincing matwork whatsoever.

And I'm not sure that Rock should have friendships with Steen and Roode; I'm not sure where the idea of a friendship with Roode comes from, but with Steen it's presumably based on their Twitter interaction? The Rock put the guy over on Twitter, great, but I think this is (as with most relationship suggestions in this thread) an inherent misunderstanding of how relationships function as a gameplay mechanic in EWR.

I really, really doubt that The Rock would get pissed off at a booker for firing Kevin Steen, or be especially cheered up if Vince McMahon were to hire him tomorrow.

Hmm ok, but then you have to move down a lot of other wrestlers in their technical skills. There is no relation to guys like Carlito (75), David Young (73), Juventud Guerrera (71), Paul Burchill (68), Shark Boy (68), Sonjay Dutt (75), Tony Mamaluke (77), Zema Ion (74) and guys like that.

A guy like Sonjay or Zema are 20% better than Hardy? Of course I like Zema and Dutt, but what kind of wrestling they are doing? Spotwrestling, fast paced, good and solid workers. But why they are technical in a better position Hardy is?

So and you are talking about a "solid" technical Match. Of course in every Hardy Match there are other elements than only technical wrestling, but thats the case for maybe every worker on earth and thats fine. I can remember Matches against Angle (No Surrender 2010), John Morrison (Smackdown 2009), Triple H and Shelton (Smackdown 2008?), Jericho (No Way Out 2003) which were definetly "technical solid".

The problem is, you say Hardy is average in technical wrestling. I would say your right. But in relation to others, 54 are not enough.

Btw what do you give wrestlers which are able to do great hardcore or ladder matches? A good brawl skill, didnt you? 68 is ok?

Jeff Hardy botches a lot of his offense and tends to look a little sloppy. Guys like Zema, Sonjay, even Juvi are doing more complicated moves and generally pulling them off with more success and more crisply than Jeff Hardy can do his basic trademarks. And I've seen guys like Juventud, Sonjay, and Zema Ion at least utilize ground work, submissions, chain wrestling, and reversals. Jeff Hardy rarely does. It's usually a series of disconnected maneuvers and a lot of selling. I would put Hardy's tech at 58 or 59, but not higher than that. I do agree with a small boost in charisma, though. He actually cut some decent promos during his heel turn "Anti-Christ of Wrestling" days and his natural charisma is what keeps him in the fans' good graces in spite of his numerous fuck-ups in and out of the ring. Maybe his charisma could be around 77 or 78.

add a FRIENDSHIP relation between The Rock and Kevin Steen.

add a FRIENDSHIP relation between The Rock and Bobby Roode.

As already said before, twitter comments and retweets aren't enough evidence of REAL friendship. The Rock wouldn't go to bat for these guys with Vince.

As far as the technical wrestling argument, the guys you mentioned (David Young, Paul Burchill, Tony Mamaluke, Zema Ion) are all very talented and skilled at technical wrestling. Jeff Hardy does some base, albeit sloppy technical wrestling. TBH if anything I'd say 54 is overrated a tad.

-Raise Maven Bentley's brawl to 46, technical to 37, stiffness to 42, selling to 68, charisma to 83, attitude to 85, and behavior to 89. Check Trainer and Shooting.

Hello everyone, I'm Italian, (Rome) I follow the game and this forum for many years, and I wanted to work by adding some of the most representative Italian wrestler of our federations. If you agree, I would start with two or three wrestlers and then tell me if it goes well.

Please do. Just remember the overness is based on their popularity in north America, so unless they've been televised in the US or Mexico, the workers' over should be kept quite low. Also, if they don't speak English, French or Spanish, they wouldn't speak in a North American promotion.

Fight has only run 4 shows in total, so they might not be the best choice. However C*4 has basically the same roster and has been around for years. C*4 includes Kevin Steen, Frankie the Mobster, El Generico, Player Uno, Player Dos, Michael Elgin, Josh Alexander, Mike Rollins, Ethan Page, Christopher Bishop, Lionel Knight, Aeroform, Tyson Dux, Twiggy, Addy Starr, Michael Von Payton, Sabian, Sebastian Suave, Sexxxy Eddy, Mike Bailey. A few might have to be added, but not many.
