Quietly confident about tonight. Smalling is slated to make his return, and if he starts, it could be at RB. Rafael has played the last 3 games (Chelsea twice and Arsenal) so might get a rest tonight ahead of the Villa game.

I expect a pretty strong team overall because if we can get the win then qualification is secured. Be good to see Smalling get a game, as well as Anderson, who has been impressive in the last two games. Hernandez should start too I reckon.

As I thought, Rafael is rested. I would've suggested Valencia at RB but with Smalling fit I expected him to play there.

Resting Rio is a smart move though.

Sky are predicting a diamond 4-4-2 but I doubt that, especially away from home. I'd guess a 4-2-3-1 with Anderson and Giggs in CM, Nani and Welbeck out wide with Rooney just behind Hernandez.

Oh and Happy Birthday to David De Gea. Clean sheet would be a great present.

United game has been very average so far. Pretty tight and neither team really creating much in the final third, though I always expected this to be a tough game.

0-0 HT in the United game. Pretty shit really, we've never really got going. We've had a little joy down the right hand side but nothing has come of it. Braga have threatened once or twice, and hit the post with a nice header. I think we need some RVP.
