Benjamin Posted July 12, 2013 Report Share Posted July 12, 2013 I am game, my only reservation is people will attempt to add "cheap wins" to their streak when there is something very lopsided in Bellator, and then not doing it for Bellator when the fights are harder to pick. Any decent alternatives? The next Invicta card is really good, some competitive fights on it (based on girls I know and have seen, at least). Other than that, um, ONE FC? With alternatives I meant a way of playing to keep it fair, as opposed to what Rich said, like some people will only pick on the lopsided cards, and not on the less predictable ones, knowing they wouldn't lose their winning streak with a Bellator no-show. Just like the major 4 that aren't ufc like BellatorFC, WSOF, ONEFC, InvictaFC? Or would you do LegacyFC, Cage Warriors, RFA, XFC etc too? That's why I think it's better if you put on selected non-UFC Pick Em cards, so it doesn't have to be every Bellator card, but those that garner extra interest, like the upcoming Bellator 97 or today's Invicta for example. It's like a double edged sword, no? If you pick on a non UFC card, you get an advantage over those that don't, but if you don't then you aren't going to break your streak. I mean, when you open another thread, a high possibility it's going to be buried and forgotten. Remember when we had a news and discussion thread for non-UFC MMA? EddieG Posted July 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 14, 2013 The board isn't as busy as it used to be back then, the first page of the Sports Bar goes back 11 days, if I post a card to pick 7 days before a fight for example, it'll stay on the first page until the show itself.
