We could play for a fortnight and not score. It;s quite frightening that this could be our team on Saturday if the knocks/niggles don't clear up.

Very happy with that, big depth in squad. Holtby was fantastic and should be pushing for a start on Saturday, and so should Lamela and even Defoe. First goal was beautiful.

I know we've not really played many of the big teams yet but still, played 9, won 8, lost 1. Scored 20, conceded 1. Numerous different scorers, two strikers in the goals already, midfielders scoring, Vertonghen an absolute rock, Sandro back and already running the midfield, Paulinho looking wonderful, Lamela with delightful skills, Holtby showing what he only hinted at last season.....Nyumnyumnyum.
