InFamous comes out next month. Save your money and buy a half decent game for the PS4, if you're going to buy one on the basis of "Well, I need to use it for SOMETHING" >_>

I can't think of any other reason to buy a Thief game in 2014.

Based on the reviews there is no way I am touching Thief. South Park is out in a couple weeks and I'll just play that until Infamous comes out

Actually...that is a good point, Srar. Maybe I should just wait for the game to go cheap before picking it up. I have Final Fantasy to play, my Rust server is getting a reset, AND I need to play the heck out of South Park when it comes out.

I haven't entertained the idea of getting Thief. Just doesn't seem like my kind of game at all. Waiting on Watch Dogs and Dying Light - they'll be my next two purchases.

I lied apparently, it's a rebootquel. It's set after the events of the second game, but not directly relating to them.

Think of it like the new Star Trek films. You don't have to have seen anything else from Star Trek, but if you do you'll get a few fun moments here and there.

They'd ought to reboot Infamous. The idea was good but the games were executed so poorly. I got the first Infamous for free as part of the PSN outage and I still have no intention of playing it.

It's not just Infamous, Prototype managed to be even shitter. The only decent superhuman sandbox game I ever played was Crackdown and that was only OK.

InFamous was pretty good for what it was, if you go in expecting a huge triple A GTA type sort of game then you're obviously going to be disappointed, but besides a little clunkiness I thought they were very enjoyable games.

Prototype was fucking garbage though.
