Aaron Cresswell is having a medical at West Ham. A deal has been agreed for a fee exceeding £2m, BBC Radio Suffolk reports.

This is a steal. Cresswell's been Ipswich's best player for the last two seasons, he definitely deserves to be in the Premier League. I'd say 2 mil is a great price for West Ham.

Cristian Cuevas does his best to underline how he will never be at Chelsea's level by returning to his native Chile for a season's loan.

You can say what you like about a lot of Chelsea's youth/loanees, but this really is the guy whom I have no idea why we ever bought him.

I can see the sense in Caulker but signing Rio is a step back for them, IMO. Unless he's taken a giant pay back, which is unlikely.

That bank account of Fido Ferdinand's is bulging though.

Why doesn't Liverpool just save time and buy Southampton.

All of it.

The whole city.

It depends who they replace them with, though. Yes, they probably won't luck out and get equal quality replacements, but they are getting a heck of a lot of money for them - enuogh to build a decent squad.

Southampton's squad is getting absolutely gutted this summer. Unless they heavily reinvest all that money and avoid pulling a Tottenham with the signings they do make, they could be in danger of going down.

Can we have Morgan Schneiderlin too? Just because his name is fun to say.

The last Liverpool player who had a fun name was David N'Gog.
