Watford's graphics are miles better than West Ham's.

West Ham have Karen Brady on the board. Maybe all the years of shit graphic designs from The Apprentice has rubbed off on her and West Ham.

Serie A new boys Carpi have signed Chelsea full-back Wallace on a season-long loan deal. The 21-year-old, who joined the Blues from Fluminense in December 2012, has previous experience of Serie A having spent the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Inter Milan.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Victor Moses, Bertrand Traore and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be part of the Chelsea squad this season, with the players taking the shirt numbers 14, 20 and 36 respectively.

"Just like brand new signings"... :shifty:

He probably did, albeit in a last-minute "oh he might be on the bench one time, quick give him a number 30-something shirt" way, so I guess this just confirms it for his first 'real' season.

Moses is obviously not likely to start, but he's likely to get some time. This is what Mourinho said about him after our first (and hilariously bad) pre-season game last night:

"He's strong, he's experienced, he's fast, he's aggressive. He has to learn how to play with us obviously, but I'm happy with his week, with his 45 minutes. The next match, 45 more minutes. Victor had an evolution over the past couple years."

Benteke must have been over excited to sign for us judging by the state of his jeans.

He interrupted artexing his bedroom ceiling to come and sign his contract.

Sakho has been finishing the job for him.

Roma have reached a deal to take Wojciech Szczesny on loan for next season with a view to buying the Polish goalkeeper next summer for €5m (£3.5m). The two clubs had been in negotiations for several days before they agreed terms on the 12-month deal with Roma understood to be paying around €1m to have the 25-year old in their squad for next season. One sticking point had been whether Arsenal should continue to pay a percentage of the goalkeeper’s wages but in the end the two clubs agreed the Serie A club would pay the full amount.

Manchester City are close to agreeing a deal under which Stevan Jovetic will join Internazionale permanently next summer for €15m (£10.5m) after spending the 2015-16 season on loan at the Serie A club.

Real Madrid’s Scotland Under-19 international attacker Jack Harper has signed for Brighton and Hove Albion on a permanent, two-year deal for an undisclosed fee. Harper had two years left on his contract in Spain but opted to depart after the club scrapped its ‘C’ team. The ‘C’ team would have been the next step up for Harper, who was born in February 1996, after departing the Juvenil A side, effectively Madrid’s Under-19s. He was offered a contract with Castilla, Madrid’s ‘B’ team, and the opportunity to go out on loan this season, but instead chose to continue his career elsewhere.

Barcelona have completed their business in the latest transfer window and the Spanish and European champions’ squad is now “closed”, president Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed. Barça have brought in the Turkey playmaker Arda Turan and the versatile Spain defender Aleix Vidal since winning the treble last season and Bartomeu indicated the club would not be buying or selling any more players before the window closes at the end of next month. Neither Arda nor Vidal will be available to coach Luis Enrique until January, however, as Barça have been banned by Fifa from registering new signings until then after they broke rules on the transfer of foreign under-18 players. Bartomeu’s comments, made as he joined up with the team in San Francisco on their pre-season tour, suggest Barça’s Spain forward Pedro, who has been linked with a move to English clubs Chelsea or Manchester United, will be staying.

Derby County are set to re-sign defender Jason Shackell after they agreed an undisclosed fee with Burnley.

Charlton Athletic have signed Cristian Ceballos following his departure from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer. Midfielder Ceballos, 22, did not feature for Spurs after joining from Barcelona in summer 2011. The Spaniard, who spent the 2013-14 season on loan with Portuguese Primeira Liga side Arouca, has signed a three-year deal with the Championship club.

I think if Ceballos' attitude was a bit better last season he could've clocked up a few appearances in the Europa League. I remember him being a bit selfish in pre season, but maybe he was just eager to impress. I'm worried he'll do well after he's left us, kind of like Dos Santos and Falque. We don't seem to do all that well with foreign youngsters, except for Bentaleb.
