It was a shame to see Venus struggling so much, but Muguruza was clinical. It's nice to see a new winner, especially after she lost two years ago in the final.

Roger was unreal. Didn't drop a set and beat everyone besides Berdych with absolute ease. If he's willing to take large chunks of the season off to nurse injuries every year he could keep doing this until he approaches 40 I'd wager. The other guys on tour are all wearing themselves down trying to keep up with one another, meanwhile Roger is just playing a game against Father Time.

Think this was a pretty poor Wimbledon overall really, the men's at least.

I enjoyed the first week of the men's tournament, but injuries meant that the second half wasn't as good. I thought the women's tournament was exciting, though.

I think I enjoy women's tennis more in general at the moment - with Serena out its more open than it's been in a decade, and I think it's more competitive in general when she around as well.

There are several top female players with a decent shot of winning the biggest tournaments, and even then, Jelena Ostapenko's win at the French Open shows that there's great talent beyond the top ten. I'm really looking forward to the hard court season.

The women's field has been more unpredictable for years, even during the Williams dominance. There's just been so much depth, and nobody outside of Serena has really had a consistent run in the Grand Slam tournaments. Whereas on the men's side it's basically been all-chalk since 2003, minus a few special upsets. Both of these have their benefits as a fan. The men's game gives you legendary rivalries, and it means so much more when someone who isn't Murray, Nadal, Federer, or Djokovic wins a major. The women's game constantly has the drama of anyone can win at anytime. I'd be more bored if both were the same honestly.

Nah don't think so - Australian is Eurosport, French is ITV4, Wimbledon is BBC, US is now Eurosport.

No, but it does have most of the ATP tournaments.

Jana Novotna has died of cancer at the age of 49. She was one of my favourite female players in the 1990s, so this hits hard.

British #2 Aljaz Bedene is switching his allegiance back to Slovenia from 2018 onwards.

I think that's a shame as he tried his best to be allowed to play for us in the Davis Cup and they wouldn't let him. The way Dan Evans was with him was not right and it made me quite pleased when he then got a drugs ban. Would much rather have Bedene representing us than that clown.
