Good.  I've been a big believer in transparency with the HOF voting.  It's a shame they didn't do this last year so the 3 voters who screwed Junior out of 100% would have to explain themselves.

I'd say there's a very good chance either Mo or Jeter get to 100% now.  MAYBE somebody will say no to Mo because they refuse to ever vote closers.  Not voting for Jeter can't be justified by any measure.

It's nice to pick up Sale, but I have a bad feeling the Red Sox gave up a ton to get him.

Boston has great player development, so they'll give up a ton but in just a few years replenish what they lost. 2 of the guys in the trade are years behind, those are easily replaceable. It's why I can't understand why Washington doesn't trade away prospects. They always have an eye for talent at the low levels and develop it well. If you have the right organizational structure a trade like this is a no-brainer. Unfortunately for me Boston is one such organization.

Wilson Ramos is reportedly going to sign a two-year deal with Tampa Bay.

The Cubbies are close to acquiring their new closer, Wade Davis.

Is the rumor Soler straight up for Davis? I'm not really getting a clear picture.

That's the rumor, but apparently the Nationals are going all in and are putting together a deal for Davis too. I'm not sure who they're offering though.

Wade Davis for Jorge Soler is a complete heist for the Cubs.

Supposedly the Royals demanded Amed Rosario from the Mets, which is laughable.

From the ESPN article - it sounds like they signed him to play first base. Seems odd - but if he hits like he did last season, it should be fine.

Nats finally parted with Giolito for the very underrated Adam Eaton.

ChiSox are dealing everybody. Frazier or Quintana is next.

And getting some decent returns too.  If Quintana lands on a good NL club I think he ends up in the Cy Young conversation.

Adam Eaton is a nice player but I still think Giolito and Lopez for him is a big overpay.

Chapman back to the Yankees.  5 years, $86 million.  Knew he'd be going back after that trade.

Sounds like the McCutchen trade market dried up. So he'll be playing a lame duck season in Pittsburgh unless the Buccos lower their asking price.
