Also, in the monumentally unlikely scenario that they DO win, considering they could never have won it without you, I hope you ask for more than just the $2 back.

I went in to a gas station Saturday afternoon for a pop and a quick snack and wound up having to wait in line for what felt like foreeeeeever because there were 10 people ahead of me buying powerball tickets. Fuck powerball.

Yeah, I honestly have watched the first couple episodes and maybe the one Thanksgiving episode a few seasons in, but then I skip to around Season 6 onward. Just something about Diane irks me. Its not even Shelley Long, I've enjoyed her in other roles, but Diane Chambers is just an irritating, pretentious character so I've never really gotten into Seasons 1-5 much. Coach is great from what I've seen of him, so is everyone else really, and I get a kick out of it anytime they rag on Diane in later seasons. But while most shows I skip the later seasons, Cheers was just the opposite for me.

Home Alone 1 & 2, The Santa Clause, Jingle All the Way, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Gremlins 1 & 2, will probably be adding Muppet Christmas Carol (and any other Muppet Christmas movies) this year.

I'm not really that upset about the Cubs losing, I'm cheering for the Royals honestly, just feel bad for the Cubs after how long they've waited and how good they were playing up until running into the Mets juggernaut in the NLCS

The dream is over. Back to the Future II got one thing right, the Cubs World Series hopes died October 21st, 2015 and they got swept before the World Series rather than sweeping the World Series

So Mayweather is 49-0 now and claims to be retiring, if anyone cares. I still want to see Lesnar or Rousey tear him apart though.

Always a fan of his work, the first Nightmare of Elm Street, Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and New Nightmare are my favorites of the series and no coincidence that he played a big part in that and Scream picked up where New Nightmare left off in reinventing the genre. And that's not to discount some of his other work either like The Hills Have Eyes, The Last House on the Left. I didn't know he directed Red Eye either until just reading it now, enjoyed that as well. Often imitated, never duplicated, he was definitely a pioneer and his influence will certainly be missed.

Seen on Facebook that "Deez Nuts" is getting 9% of the Presidential vote in North Carolina. I didn't even know John Cena was running. He probably won't win though, he's not that popular with the over-18 crowd.
