I don't have a horse in this race, but Wycombe going up would be a more interesting story.

Wycombe up 1-0 from a corner. Oxford really poor in positioning there, six stood in the centre of the six yard box but nobody stops Stewart at the back post.

Sykes for Oxford just did an amazing cross into the box... which incidentally went into the goal.

After Oxford have dominated, one slip-up results in a Wycombe scoring a penalty after Onyedinma is ran into by goalkeeper Eastwood. Eastwood surprisingly not even carded. 12 minutes left, 2-1 Wycombe.

 

EDIT: Onyedinma was slightly offside before the incident, so swings and roundabouts really.

Tremendous achievement by Gareth Ainsworth and Wycombe. For a club of their resource to have had the season they have is nothing short of remarkable.

Kudos to Wycombe for sticking with Ainsworth for as long as they have. Plenty of other clubs would have sacked him at various stages over the last eight years and patience has now paid off.

Bear in mind, Wigan have to be 12 points clear of 22nd place due to going into administration. This result will put them 12 points clear... of Hull.
