Bob Nightengale did one of those of why he voted for LaTroy Hawkins and it was like, all it did was confirm that maybe Bob Nightengale shouldn’t have a vote.

Seeing that dumb take from Nightengale makes me question the validity of his report that the Mets have made Bauer a short-term offer that would break the AAV record.

Oh wait, literally as I type it, Jon Heyman, Andy Martino, and Mark Feinsand all Tweeted at the exact same time to say that report is false.

Bob Nightengale did report LaRussa to the ChiSox before anyone else took it seriously and that's basically the only time he's been right in the last year.

Honestly, I'm ok with that over Curt Schilling getting in all by himself. Fuck that guy.

Due to his behavior, I don't see Schilling ever getting in. Bonds and Clemens *maybe* by the Veterans' Committee, but Schilling probably not.

Schilling was extremely close and probably will get in next year but he's apparently requested to be removed from the ballot.
