Always preferable when a club gets a sponsor from a company with a local connection too, rather than some Asian betting company or whatever.

They only went with Lotus because people kicked off about them being sponsored by (another) Asian betting company. In this case it was specifically because the new sponsor (BK8) had virtually no online presence and adverts featuring half-naked women to advertise their company.

No one's ever described Van Persie that way before.

I'd be ok with it if that awkward-looking arch of stitching wasn't there. Not too keen on the collar either, but it's more bearable. Shame we haven't had a good home kit in years at this point.

All the Adidas shirts have that same collar and stitching going on. What's the point of these high-dollar contracts if the manufacturers use the exact same shirt with a different coat of paint?

Why spend money designing ten shirts when you can design one?

To be honest I don't mind the concept of templates completely as long as the kits themselves are a bit more individual, but that big curve at the top of all the Nike ones this year doesn't really fit any of the designs.

That Man Utd kit is horrible too, looks like Homers car. A collar, but with triangles, a 90s style stitch on crest, whatever is going on with that Adidas badge.

On the topic of same design. This is a carbon copy of Real Madrid. So even on away kits they’re just using the same design/colours from other club’s home kits.

Also, why are Qatar sponsoring Bayern?

I've only just now clocked that this isn't a Real Madrid shirt.
