Per Fabrizio Romano:

Romelu Lukaku to AS Roma, here we go! Agreement reached on loan deal valid until June 2024 — player will travel to Roma on Tuesday 🚨🟡🔴 #ASRoma

Salary coverage around €7.5m for 10 months. Loan fee higher than €5m.

Green light arrived also on player side.

Done deal.

The number of times we try to get Lukaku the fuck out of our club, but there always remains the possibility he'll come back...

Props to Jose for the save, though. It briefly looked like no one would take him this season.

Not sure I like that Roma badge

It's awful. Makes the kit look like Adidas teamwear.

Oh also when did Fab's AI generated images start getting sponsored by a dodgy casino website?

Somewhere between Cancelo and Lukaku by the looks of it, I've edited my post.

Ornstein reporting that we've made a loan request to Chelsea for Cucurella.

We need a LB and despite having a bad year last season, he was very good in Spain and at Brighton. I'd take him, we're short at LB, and definitely over Marcos Alonso.

Do you think there would have been scope for Tierney to go to Utd on loan? I don't know if the timing necessarily would have lined up and there's obviously potential issues over replacing an injured Shaw with someone who has had his own injury issues but on paper that's a obvious match of supply and demand.
