I'd still much rather have Hammond than Clarkson, and maybe Clarkson can take a trip to the moon or climb a mountain or something and while he's there figure out how to be funny (fat chance).

He used to have a show on YouTube that was pretty neat. I can't remember what it was called, James May's Something Lab - Brit Lab? - and it involved him answering peoples' questions about science, philosophy, etc. and sometimes having special guests on to answer questions who were specialists in those fields. I dunno what happened but he's not involved with it anymore.

The RAF/USAF gag was cute.

I'm not sure I like The American as much as The Stig. Take some getting used to.

May is the only one vaguely watchable on his own, no question of that.

I watched all 3 episodes of Reassembler, with him methodically putting stuff (lawnmower, guitar, phone) together from all the separate parts, while gently talking into the camera about how fascinating it all was.

Absolutely delightful telly.

What is DriveTribe?

Quote

Simply put DriveTribe is a social media platform, but everything on it connects to cars. It’s more like a forum than a profile page. That is to say– the focus is on quick-hit conversations rather than housing everybody’s spec sheets and glory photos of their own cars.

Think “Tumblr/Instagram” rather than “CarDomain.” I know you remember at least one of those.

It's a social network by Clarkson, Hammond & May and it officially opens in 5 days, next Monday.
