The three just work together though, that's the thing. Take any one of them away and I don't think it'd be as good, no matter how much of a pillock Clarkson can be.

Yeah, take one out of the equation and it doesn't really work. May said something to that effect when Clarkson was sacked along with "Although he's a knob, I quite like working with Jeremy".

May is the only one vaguely watchable on his own, no question of that.

He used to have a show on YouTube that was pretty neat. I can't remember what it was called, James May's Something Lab - Brit Lab? - and it involved him answering peoples' questions about science, philosophy, etc. and sometimes having special guests on to answer questions who were specialists in those fields. I dunno what happened but he's not involved with it anymore.

I watched all 3 episodes of Reassembler, with him methodically putting stuff (lawnmower, guitar, phone) together from all the separate parts, while gently talking into the camera about how fascinating it all was.

Saw the trailer for The Grand Tour on Youtube, and it really sucks that its on Amazon Prime. I have Netflix, and refuse to watch `Top Gear' without Clarkson, Hammond and May.
