Jealous that you get to see Orange Goblin. They kick ass.

Seen them half a dozen times or so tbh, they are always brilliant.  :)

Seeing them play such a small, intimate gig is weird when you're used to seeing videos of them on these like 20,000+ arena tours.

Ghost are so good live, and the line-up is really nice.

I saw Bring Me The Horizon last night and it was honestly one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Easily top three. They're so fucking good.

You just reminded me...

I dig it. If you've ever listened to Sólstafir (Icelandic black metal / post-metal), it's their guitarist/singer's side project.

Volbeat is a turn off. Had to play them so damn much because of requests back when I was DJing, that I can't stand to listen to them much. Other than the song they did with King Diamond....meh.

Judas Priest have cancelled the remainder of their US tour featuring Sabaton as guitarist suffered an aortic aneurysm and complete aortic dissection during the band's performance at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky on September 26th. According to the 41 year old guitarist, it happened as the band played Painkiller, the final song on the setlist that night. He was rushed to the Rudd Heart & Lung Center and underwent a 10 1/1 hour long emergency open heart surgery during which 5 parts of his chest were replaced with mechanical parts. He was discharged from the hospital earlier today.

Holy shit! It is a miracle that the dude survived this.

Since Judas Priest was mentioned, I just have to ask: Is KK's Priest any good?

It is okay. Not outstanding, not terrible. Run-of-the-mil Priest-inspired Metal played by competent musicians. The production sounds a bit cheap. In particular the drums. And they weirdly buried Tim Owens's vocals in the mix. It is better than Redeemer Of Souls and Nostradamus, but it has nothing on Firepower.
