Bought this for £25 this morning in Tesco (it's the same price at Asda) so I'll be playing it, and putting Uncharted down for a bit, when I get home from work.

It suits me down to the ground. Paying between 40 and 50 quid in a game shop is ridiculous when you can get it for effectively half of that.

PES is £32.71 in Tesco and Asda have it for a similar price. Was £25 last year on release though.

Okay just got it. Got a question.

In CAW mode you can assign abilities, but it only has like 8 of them to choose from. You don't get things like Kip-Up, Resilience or Lock Pick - which is what I would like. Do you unlock the other abilities or are you stuck with them?

I was under the impression you unlock more in Career mode, and can change the ones you have assigned via your Moveset whenever you like.

Got my copy at Asda, almost done installing it. I think first i'm going to see if Swagger has his red costume. If not, i'll try and make it. Then i'll have a match with him, who to face though? Maybe Christian.

On the subject of supermarket undercutting, I can only hope they do the same for MW2. Even then, I think that'd only get it down to about £35 or so.

You unlock the abilities by reaching a certain level with your CAW's stats.

• Durability: Get your Durability score to 85.
  Exploder Tunbuckle Attack: Get your Speed score to 75.
  Fan Favorite: Get your Charisma score to 80.
  Fired Up: Get your Overall rating to 90.
  Hardcore Ressurrection: Get your Hardcore score to 90.
  Kip Up: Get your Technical score to 85.
  Lock Pick: Get your Submission score to 80.
  Object Specialist: Get your Hardcore score to 70.
  Resiliency: Get your Overall rating to 92.
  Strong Strike: Get your Strike score to 75.

Which RTWM should I do tonight? I've done Edge's, and my CAW isn't ready yet, so it would have to be one of the others.

Although in a way I might not want to do all the good ones first, to prevent me from being left with just the crap ones at the end.

I did the Mickie James RTWM last night..figured Ild get that one out of the way first. Wow..when did Michelle McCool become a reversal expert? I'd say she easily reversed about 90% of the stuff I did...

Superstar Threads is so simple yet really just add's that little bit more to the game. First thing I did was go through and add some new attires >_> Like Punk's Yellow/Black.

So I'm playing on Hard and bumped the sliders down a bit... It was a little tough at first but after a while I was breezing through my Six Man Tag Match with Punk, Jericho and Kendrick against Mysterio, Morrison and Undertaker.

Kane and 'Taker now have pink outfits thanks to Threads.

And still, fuck hardmode and them reversing EVERY.SINGLE.STRONG.GRAPPLE. The match then becomes running strikes/grapples, and then top rope attacks.

Ok, do they like crank up the difficulty for the WrestleMania match or what, playing Edge RtWM

against Kennedy for the title, all the previous matches I had I dominated him, completely one sided matches, now in the WM match he's suddenly kicking the crap out of me, reversing like 90% of my offense.

Hilarious

I just played that tonight. Kennedy (for some unknown reason) started the match with a Signature, hit me with the standing Green Bay Plunge, climbed the cage, won the match in about 20 seconds.

EXACT same thing happened to me the first time. Are we playing the same save or something?

Apparently there's a trick to it

You just have to survive/keep Kennedy from escaping long enough for Maria to come to ringside, then when you try to climb the cage a little button pushing mini game starts with you climbing and Kennedy crawling towards the door.

I saw it suggested on another board, I haven't tried it personally yet, but I've heard if you turn the difficulty up to Legend, then bump the reversal sliders down to just one click above 0, it's pretty tough but not a reversal fest. I'm still toying with Hard's sliders, but haven't found the perfect balance.
