The Dan Castellaneta/John Hodgman dueling NPR hosts bit on Parks & Rec last night was brilliant

First Community episode I've really enjoyed in a long time. Hit all the right beats and it was super refreshing for the Abed storyline to play out like it did. Chang thing felt super forced though, like, if I'd somehow missed every segment with him I wouldn't have felt like I'd missed anything. Which is a bummer because I'm a huge fan of The Shining. I guess maybe at this point they feel like they have to have some of the whacky Community stuff in each episode, which is a shame.

Parks and Rec was alright, felt a bit spread thin, despite not many stories running alongside one another. I wish I hadn't had Ben's present ruined for me, but the bit with him being like "Look, Leslie, if you don't know what you're doing... just don't..." was great.

Yeah, I made the mistake of looking on Tumblr before finishing the episode. But Ben doing the Joffrey lounging-in-the-throne pose was hysterical.

Parks and Rec was amazing.

Community not so much. Everything felt super rushed.

This was the first Community episode this season that seemed off. I get what they were trying to do with each storyline, but as Benkid put it, everything seemed rushed. Especially Abed's scenes. I can't wrap my head around him intentionally ruining the professor's papers.

I really dug Community. The Chang stuff felt tacked on, as though they were afraid it was too much sentiment and not enough laughs, but it was otherwise great.

I didn't care for the Chang stuff until the gag at the end. All was forgiven.

Rest of the episode was great though. As far as Parks and Rec goes, I liked Larry and Ben's date and Craig. That was about it.
