The idea of the White Walkers arranging everything into that symbol is funny to me. I just imagine the Night King shouting, "A little further to the left, people! Come on now! Who's going to take us seriously as a brutally efficient army of lost souls hell-bent on exterminating all organic life if we don't have an eye for aesthetics?"

The Night King has a flair for the dramatic and impeccable timing, this should be no surprise.

Concerning that symbol, I noticed it in an overhead shot in "The Door" the other day during HBO's marathon when the Children of the Forest made the Night's King. So...yeah, probably connected to that. I really think it would be interesting if that location happened to be an ancient pre-winter Fist of the First Men, but whatever.
