Rogue Legacy is fun, but as far as goofy indy rogue type games go, I much preferred Dungeons of Dredmor. It's top down rather than side scrolling, and it has a lot more depth from what I've seen from Legacy.

Somebody should explain Monaco to me. If TKZ says it sucks, there's a pretty good chance it's awesome .

It's basically a top-down heist game where each player has a different job. Heists go well sometimes, but it's almost best when everything goes tits-up and shit gets crazy. That's probably why TKz didn't like it.

TKz pretty much did walk out of our D&D game because he charged recklessly headfirst into an enemy stronghold and fell into a rat infested pit, so there is that.

I think you'll find D&D died because it got super boring and we never organised it again.

I think most of them are centered around multiplayer or co-op play so it would probably be better if you had people to play them with.
