I love how all three games had red cards handed out, too (one of them was someone on the Atleti bench, but still was pretty funny).

Atletico Madrid feel like having an absolutely excruciating final day and are behind to second from bottom Valladolid 1-0. If Real win their game and Atleti lose then Real will win La Liga.

Real Madrid are losing though. When everyone's spursing, as everyone is this final month, it cancels out and everything stays the same.

I don't dislike Simon Hanley - he does get quite a lot of stick.

But calling "Real Madrid lead La Liga Santander" when Benzema scored is pretty poor, as they'd still be a point adrift.

Didn't end up meaning anything as Benzema's goal got ruled out and Atleti equalised in their game.

Atlético getting an equalizer 25 seconds after Madrid got theirs and then Real Madrid getting theirs disallowed just adds to the storyline. Too convoluted. We're getting to 2001 WCW levels right now.

Meanwhile, Betis have come from 2 goals down against Celta to lead 3-2, and take take Europa League spot as it stands, at the expense of Real Sociedad.

Raul Guti (great name) just scored a worldie to perhaps save Elche from relegation, in front of their crowd for the first time this season too. Great stuff.

Edit: Sociedad now lead, so it's Villarreal who'd miss out on the Europa.

Lille won Ligue 1. PSG failing to win any french competition should be seen as a massive failure considering their budget and everyone else's.

Unfortunately Napoli couldn't wrap things up and wind up in the Europa League while Juventus go to the Champions League.

Happy for Lille. Tend to enjoy any not PSG French club winning that league nowadays.

I believe there's the potential for a group with Atleti/City/Bayern, PSG, and Juve.
