That is cool for the fact he gets to be Spider-Man after all but that is totally not the kinda voice I imagined coming out of 13 year old Miles.

Phoenix all the way. I would've been happy with Leto too, but I can see Phoenix being to Dr. Strange what Robert Downey Jr. has become to Iron Man.

To be fair, a lot of people say/have said the same thing about Phoenix. I was never on board with Leto though. Too afraid that Dallas Buyers Club was more of an aberration than him actually growing as an actor.

Then again, I prefer the virtual no-name (or under-the-radar) route when casting a superhero anyways.

I'm sure Leto would've been good, but it's a no contest to me. Someone like Phoenix playing Dr. Strange shows how far Marvel have come in terms of attracting actors. I can't think of a better fit.
