I don't get why we constantly do stuff like this. Rather than bring in somebody like Wootton, we instead play a midfielder at CB. Sure, Carrick has played there before, he's got much more experience than say a Wootton, but it's the exact same thing that happened with people like Pogba when we decided to play people like Rafael in the center of the midfield instead of an actual midfielder. I'd have much rather have seen Wootton in there, experience or not.

Expecting a bit of a cracker tonight. Tasty lineup it has to be said. Got United 3-1 with Hernandez to score the first goal, might stick a bit more on with the announced lineup though, could be a bucket full of goals tonight.

I guess Sir Alex doesn't want to take any chances until we've secured qualification, especially after last season. Once we've qualified, then we might see a few more youth players getting a chance.

This has been crazy up to now. United simply can't defend lately so are always going to struggle against teams like this.

Still confident we can win, but we definitely need the next goal - we look susceptible to concede more, which is worrying.

Absolutely nothing coming off for Chelsea and Shakhtar looking incredibly slick. Barring a Spurs/Chelsea type reversal from the 46th minute (but not the second reversal 20 minutes later ), we're only getting back into this if we get lucky.
