Jaime Castrillon and COL are parting ways (sucks, he looked good when he was out there but injured a bit much).

NYRB re-sign Eric Alexander and Luyindula

Reports out of Honduras are saying that it is highly likely that Mario Martinez will be back in Seattle.

Dynamo have declined options on Weaver, Driver, and Chabala. Can still try and bring those guys back (Drive was great, wtf)

Valencia is apparently after Agudelo now.

Hahaahaha, man, this game is pretty bad outside of Rimando being a boss. I always forget how deceptively ugly SKC play until I actually watch them again.

Feilhaber getting away without a card in that altercation with Saborio was tragic. I imagine he's going to get a soft yellow as a makeup call in the second half.

EDIT: Saborio!!!

EDIT II: Collin (who rivals Will Johnson for my second least favorite player in MLS) scored a good header goal, as he does, and we're into extra time.

EDIT III: It should be noted that Jimmy Nielsen has had an absolutely horrible game. He's been bailed out by the post twice and Saborio not timing his run right once.

EDIT IV: So of course Nielsen then shows up big time in penalties.

Went out to dinner with family during the match, came back in time for the shootout.

Worth watching from my DVR, I take it?

Well all right, guess my post with the shootout was causing my issue with the thread.

Any hoots ....

Aurelien Collin is an awesome teammate:

Reports that Wolverhampton Wanderers and Birmingham City looking into taking Dom Dwyer on trial in January ...

Lots of talk of Jimmy Neilsen retiring (booooooooo)

2014 match ball (seems the design is being rolled out with the World Cup match ball)

Sounders have declined the option on Michael Gspurning's contract which is totally logical and totally heartbreaking for me because I love him.

Seattle Sounders (6): D Marc Burch, GK Josh Ford, M Blair Gavin, M Mauro Rosales, F Steve Zakuani*

Toronto FC (2): F Justin Braun*, M Bobby Convey

Vancouver Whitecaps (4): GK Joe Cannon, F Tommy Heinemann, F Corey Hertzog, GK Brad Knighton

Only Sounder listed that's overly surprising to me is Burch, who is cheap depth and was actually good at left mid.

There's pretty decent names on that list, and some that I hope fall through the cracks so that my Scorpions can get a shot at possibly signing them.

Lindpere, Rolfe, Paladini, Cooper, Ferreira, Toja ....

Guys like Hertzog, Videira, Soto, Ubiparipovic, Guy, Alvarez .... hope they slip through because they'd be great at the NASL level.

Jimmy Nielsen has officially retired. Go out on top, I suppose.

I kind of hated him but he's a great keeper and a great character. He'll be missed.

EDIT: As far as players going into the Re-Entry Draft I would like, Chris Rolfe and Brad Knighton are both enticing. A lot of Sounders fans really want Espindola. I get it but ugh I don't like him.
