Matt
I should imagine so, what with the match having finished and all.
ChrisSteeleAteMyHamster
EXACTLY! Ho ho Australia.
Plubby
Can Australia not just declare and put this test match to bed? Are they seriously intending to come out and try to bat all day tomorrow? With all the attention on spot/match fixing, I imagine this would be the single worst thing they could possibly do.
Admin Lineker Posted July 22, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted July 22, 2013 Australia coach Darren Lehmann says teenage spinner Ashton Agar is likely to be rested in favour of Nathan Lyon for the three-day tour match at Sussex starting on Friday. Dan
I'd just move Agar up to opener and drop Watson Pretty funny that Agar has the most runs for Australia this series after 2 tests.

Plubby
This is one of the worst things to happen to England so far this series! Pattinson has been woeful.
Chris2K
It's a stress fracture of his back rather than mental stress, likely caused by having to bowl so much in the last test without a suitable break period. Australia are resting six players from the 2nd test for the match against Sussex despite having only sixteen available players in their squad. As such they've drafted in Ashton Turner who is currently playing for Hampshire's acadamy side to make up the 11 and Travis Head as 12th man who is in the same position. The team will consist of five batsmen, Matty Wade as keeper, and six bowlers (three of them spinners). This does not seem like a very good way to get their players back into form and I'm expecting Sussex (with James Taylor added in case KP can't get fit) to win. MJB
Australia have made a very good start this morning. 76-1 so far with Watson the man gone. And he wasn't out LBW, which is a surprise. Rogers looking good at the moment, 57 off 55.

Admin Lineker Posted August 2, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 Clarke finally out for 187. Broad bowled him. 438-7.
MJB
I can't have been the only one to see a little mark on the bat when Pietersen was given out. Shame, but at least we still should be able to avoid the follow on.
Starvinho
Swann looking like he's gonna smash everything here. It'll either be a quickfire 50 or he'll be out in the next couple of balls.Swann just dropped as I was typing that... Starvinho
Swann out. 353-9Australia's second innings beckons. Be interesting to see how long they bat for.
Matt
I think they'd be silly to declare full stop unless they really pile the runs on soon. The forecast could be wrong and against these I think we potentially could chase down near 400.
Matt
I can't imagine that 50 miles down the road it's significantly darker than here and the light is perfectly fine. Aussie declaration?
Dan
Aussie batting back to standard in this innings. England could win this if weather holds out.
Plubby
Surely you realise that they were going for quick runs there and thus intentionally not batting the way they did in the first innings? Not trying to say that the batting is all fixed now after 1 innings, but that's a more than a little disingenuous.
