Reports that TFC has obtained Altidore from Sunderland via "trade" for Defoe and cash. HOWEVER, there's five teams ahead of them in the allocation order and if one of them takes him, TFC has to compensate.

Also, TFC appears to be on the verge of signing Giovinco for July as well.

Now, IF they do land Altidore and Giovinco ..... where does Gilberto go ?

As a fan of the National Team, I LOVE Jozy in Toronto. Getting to play with Bradley every week is phenomenal.

Still meh on the Edu deal, only because as of right now, Philly want to play him alongside Valdes at the back. He should be playing alongside Nogeuira in the midfield, and then trying to grab an actual center back to make the spine of theam so solid.

Yeah Ronaldo has said he'd "come out of retirement to play" ... but I dunno how serious it was. I mean, so far he's said everything right to generate publicity and all and this might just be more of that. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see his fat ass in a jersey at some point either.
