This is now supposedly close to release if this announcement on their Facebook is anything to go by

This week, members of Serious Parody will fly to the GDC in San Francisco to give journalists and players a hands on preview with 5 Star Wrestling. From there the team will travel to PAX East in Boston where thousands of gamers will finally get to go ONE... on ONE... with THE GAME. (5 Star not Triple H)

Be the first to hear the release date by joining us at PAX and there's a chance that you could win a HDTV, a PS3 and a copy of the game.

In the meantime, check out this article over on Examiner and look out for video's in the near future from Smack Network and Backyard Gaming who spent Wednesday afternoon here at Serious Parody HQ hanging out with the team.

Thats pretty much my reaction, all the hype of this being on par to the WWE series and it looks like the bastard child of the AKI N64 games, early PS2 WWE games and a dash from WCW games.

I agree, the point I was making was they cherry picked the best parts of those games and tried to force them into a HD remake of WCW Thunder.
