This is an absurd final four.  I'd have given you KC and Toronto at the start of the season, but Cubs and Mets not in a million years.  Both of them got good a year or two early.

The Dodgers might give Mattingly another year, but I'll be surprised if he's not given the ax.

I'm pulling for the Cubs now. (I may be a Reds fan, but I grew up watching the Cubs on tv, because the only other options were Braves and White Sox)

Just when you think the Mets are sunk, you get a grind-it-out kind of performance from Jacob deGrom, and Daniel Murphy carrying the team on his back. I was at Game 4 of the NLDS at Citi Field, crowd was AMAZING even if the result wasn't. The NLCS crowds in Flushing will be off the charts.

So happy the Mets won! The Cubs are going to be a tough opponent but I can honestly see the Mets winning.
