Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita has passed a medical at Crystal Palace – and could join the Premier League club in this window rather than in the summer, according to Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague. The 30-year old is out of contract at the end of the season and has agreed to join Roy Hodgson’s squad as a free agent. However, the keeper is understood to have a release clause allowing him to leave in this window for £3.5million.

Fuck paying the full amount, I'd be trying to meet them somewhere in the middle. Unless £3.5m is an already reduced clause due to how close it is to his contract expiring.
