Been listening to the new Esoteric LP, Paragon of Dissonance. It is easily the heaviest and gloomiest album I've heard all year. Slower than time, so awe-strikingly (is that something you can say? Sousa, help me out here ) heavy and so god damn amazing. I love Esoteric and I love doom metal.

Really awkward moment -- I was listening to my iPod on shuffle. "Tonight (I'm Fucking You)" by Enrique Iglesias () came on, immediately followed by "I Just Had Sex" by Lonely Island. It was awesome.

Really? I tried listening to Lulu through and through but I couldn't get further than Frustration, which describes the feeling I had with the album at that point. When you take all the other songs into consideration, I'd say that "The View" is one of the better songs. Overall, it is still pretty dreadful but within the album itself, it certainly outshines the others.
