Holy shit, Resistance 2 looks bigger, better, and more badass then the first one. The Goliath video alone has more epic action than anything from R:FOM and the new Chimera shown is cool as hell. These videos instantly shot Resistance 2 to the top of my list.

I really want a demo of LittleBigPlanet to see if it's gonna be as awesome as it looks like it could be even though I really know nothing about it.

And I bought myself Rampage as a birthday present today. I forgot how awesome that game is for a good 15 minutes of mindless fun.

The public beta started yesterday. Eurogamer gave out 5800 beta keys, but of course I was attending school during this. :crying:

I don't know who else is giving out keys though, there's supposed to be about 60k keys for this beta.

I need some advice.

Basically my Xbox 360 is dying, it's scratching discs and I've found out the laser is shot and my warranty is over and I don't have too many games I want to keep at the moment anyway, so I'm going to trade the lot in and pay the difference to get a PS3, as I refuse to buy another Xbox.

What I want to know is:

Which is the best model, in your opinion?

What are the main differences between models?

Do all models have WiFi built in?

Is online 100% free?

Im from Ireland, so PAL reigion obviously.

PS3 games are region-free. Online is completely free, can't answer the WiFi question, and the main differences are usually the size of the harddrive and how many USB slots it has (in my experience, at least). Oh, and backwards compatibility. Newer PS3s can't play PS2 games, only PS1. The last PS3 SKU that had PS2 BC was the 80GB MGS4 bundle.

Mate if you are looking for one over here your best bet is the 80 Gig. There is a 160 Gig available but unless you plan on puttin music and movies on it by the barrel load you wont need it. Try Xtra vision they are usually pretty good on trade-ins.

Edit: all the pal consoles have wifi built in.
