DavidMarrio
I was either a keeper or the dirtiest defender you've ever seen. Wild tackles, diving, clipping my own heels, elbows everywhere and a hell of a lot of shit talking. And sometimes I was stuck up front. Good feet for a big lad. I was agreeing with everything then you said diving.... Shame on you!! I remember someone diving against me and I said to him I'll give you a reason to actually go down next time, he thought I was joking. Clattered him about two minutes later and the ref didn't give anything. He wasn't happy to say the least. Used to play in midfield but then I got older and my knees got shitter so I moved to the back and I loved defending cause the refs are so shit in Sunday League you can get away with anything. Amount of sly pushes or grabbing of the shirts when someone was running clean through and getting away with it. Good times.
9 to 5
I played where I was told, usually up front as I got older and still in my salad days. The only skill I had at all was finding space in the box. No good at finishing or anything but I was in the right place!

Gorka
Started as a right back, trained my left foot, joined a new team and put at left back. My right foot isn't the best any more, just like TCO. Had a few spells at left wing, don't enjoy playing there though.

The Lusophone
Played mainly in centre midfield because I ran around a lot. Didn't get much time on the ball. Was an occasional keeper who would have one amazing game, interspersing periods of abject failure.
Gazz
My defending against Summ usually consisted of hugging him or kneeing him in the thigh.
Walker
Centre back. Basically because I got stuck in and could clear the ball when in trouble. Could not do much else.
Nerf
I played CB at Everton's youth academy for a while. I was voted best defender at the end of season awards
Gazz
The government announced a £50m investment (over 4 years) in football at a ceremony to officially open Man City's new £200m training ground. Talk about making yourself look inadequate... And every last penny of that £50 million will be spent on...training cones.
Walker
Do schools not collect sports tokens off crisp packets any more? That how my school bought all their fancy cones.
Bobfoc
You always used to need about a million tokens just to get a couple of bibs.

Jimmy
First call-up for Kane. No real surprises, other than how Shaw and Walcott are included on current form. Would love to have seen Ryan Mason involved in some form, but I wouldn't say he exactly shades it over anyone in the squad.

The Lusophone
I like that squad. Only two keepers though. Surely not every other keeper has 'retired' like Foster, etc?
Jimmy
How Townsend keeps getting in I do not know. To be fair, he's better now than he ever has been. Not like that means a huge deal. I guess Hodgson likes have someone who is very direct? Also, having looked again, why three left backs?
