Team Martin was really dialed in today. You expect that with Martin and Morris, but how about how clutch Marc Kennedy was? There were a few communication issues early, but these guys played like definite world champions. Very deserving gold medal winners, and so appropriate that it should be curling that allowed Canada to tie the all-time high mark for golds and perhaps even more appropriate that it could be hockey that pushes us into the history books.

From the looks of it the right way is to do it by Gold Medals and than use Silver and Bronze as tie breakers. Read this from WSJ.

Joannie Rochette has been selected as the flag bearer for Canada. There were other worthy candidates too but it is hard to argue with this one. It was a performance that will be remembered for a long time.

What a great finish. It is a shame to miss the podium by 0.5 seconds in a race that was 50km (30 miles for ignorant Americans). The medal ceremony for this is during the Closing Ceremonies.
