Rich Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 Its not like Davis is jumping the gun, he just beat a former top 10 205er in Lil' Nog, so he needs to face a current top ten fighter, Rashad is about the only one available on short notice who isn't already tied up or has had a fight very recently. If not it'll be a learning experience if he were to lose as to where to improve his game, if he wins than he could very well argue that he should get a title shot if he's just beaten the number 1 contender. I think it's the only fight you can do really as everyone is pretty much booked up instead of have Rashad wait around for the title match as Jones could be out for a while, rumoured of about 6-10 weeks layoff. We see it all the time at WrestleMania's but seeing the UFC in a stadium for the first time ever, it's so awesome to see. T prelims have been really fun.
