Adam
Fair enough, I guess we shall have to see how the rest of the season is conducted by Venky's and whoever they appoint as manager. Portsmouth have signed Hungary international midfielder Akos Buzsaky on a one-month deal. More lunacy and farce from Portsmouth FC and the Football League/F.A. Buszaky has turned down Bristol City on wages grounds to sign for Portsmouth. How on EARTH are they still being allowed to do this? The day this entire club goes to the wall is a day I celebrate. Then again, if it carries on as it has done so far, the F.A. will free ride them all the way back to the Premier League before long.
Colly
The Venkys are a massive problem, but they are in India. kean was the clueless cunt in charge. It's just the timing is bizarre, how many other clubs would sack their manager weeks after letting him make the club's record signing? I don't know much about it, but I'd make the assumption Kean wasn't hugely involved in that transfer.
9 to 5
You could make that assumption, plus you know it was a no-brainer of a deal especially with Best being crocked. But I would ask why any club would sack their manager just after the transfer window shuts. Yes, probably so the new guy can't spend any money. Depressing. Starvinho
MK Dons midfielder Jimmy Bullard has retired at the age of 33. The former Wigan, Fulham, Hull and Ipswich player suffered two cruciate knee ligament injuries during his career and has decided to quit the game after seeing a specialist. He joined the Dons in the summer on a short-term deal and featured three times for the League One club. "My old knee injury has never allowed me to get back to where I want to be as a football player," he said. "It's always hindered me. There are a lot of games in this league and I now know my knee won't allow me to play Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday-Tuesday. It's not built for that now. "I want to be out there playing but at the same time I know my knee won't allow me to play at my best and to keep my place in the team. I'm hindering myself more than I am helping myself for the future."

lanky316
Bloody Stevenage, can't quite believe we're still unbeaten and last nights win at Notts County was huge. I take all my doomsaying back. Premiership in 2014!
Admin Lineker Posted October 3, 2012 Author Admin Report Share Posted October 3, 2012 Bournemouth have finally sacked Paul Groves. Eddie Mitchell said in a doorstep interview that he may take charge of the weekend game if nobody else can be found in time. The sad thing is that this is a thing which I expect to happen, not even sure he's joking. Would love Harry to get the job there though! Emperor DC
Mitchell made the decision in the shower apparently. I have a strange growing love for this idiot. Speculation about Hoddle, How, Coterill and Johnson. Hoddle apparently wanted an interview in the summer but was rejected, quite hilariously. EH won't happen, too many bridges to overcome for it to, but boy I'd love it. The perfect guy for the job that needs doing.
Adam
Harry seems to like his hands-off, does whatever he wants with his life role. At least for now. Can see Hoddle getting it this time to be honest. He's a bit mad, and so is Eddie Mitchell so it fits at least. Eddie Howe is not going to leave Burnley to go back to Bournemouth. What a step back that'd be. If he was unemployed right now, sure. But I can't see it. And please let it not be Steve Cotterill, the man is a cretin of the highest order and someone who I am so glad I do not have to sit and listen to on TFLS every week because he's out of work at the moment. Adam
Ipswich striker and known gambling addict Michael Chopra has been charged as part of a corruption case looking into illegal scams in horse racing. Nottingham Forest midfielder James Coppinger and his former Doncaster teammate Mark Wilson have also been charged.
Colly
Ugh, when did they change the football league shows opening? Horrible music, West Ham and Kevin Keegan in a Liverpool shirt? I don't get it.

Starvinho
Ravel Morrison’s turbulent career is on the verge of hitting rock bottom with Lee Clark desperate to boot him out of Birmingham. Blues boss Clark has run out of patience with the former Manchester United starlet already, less than three months after signing him on a 12-month loan from West Ham. Morrison, who was previously booted out of Old Trafford by Sir Alex Ferguson because of off-the-pitch issues, has not started a game for the Championship club since the opening day of the season. Even though Birmingham are struggling just three points above the relegation zone, Clark is refusing to even include the 19-year-old in his squad. Sources close to the Midlands club claim Morrison’s attitude in training and around the club has been unacceptable and they want to terminate the loan agreement immediately. Under the terms of the agreement, however, all three parties - Birmingham, West Ham and Morrison - have to agree to the season-long loan agreement being ripped up. It is believed Hammers want Morrison to remain at St Andrew's until June and are reluctant to terminate the deal. What a waste. He's throwing his career away. Baddar
He clearly thinks he's better than he is, and even if you have all the potential in the world, you still need to conduct yourself properly. The guy needs to grow up.

Official statement; Bolton Wanderers announce that Owen Coyle has been relieved of his duties as manager.
